Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of courtroom protocol and the ability to maintain proper decorum during court proceedings is required. The ability to stay abreast of constant legislative changes; organize and quickly analyze complex situations; interpret and apply Florida Statutes and Florida Rules of Criminal Procedures; stay focused and perform multiple tasks during demanding court proceedings; maintain good working relationships with Judges and other court personnel; understand complex sentences; communicate information to Judge sand court personnel during judicial proceedings; determine indigence for applicants requesting court-appointed counsel; and the ability to work independently without direct supervision.
