Position Description: LEGAL ASSISTANT - Anticipated full-time position as a contract employee with the State of Florida, Dept. of Revenue, Child Support Enforcement. Applicants should have experience in use of personal computers and word processing software, and retrieving and interpreting data from various systems. Ability to maintain case files. Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instruction. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Prepares a variety of legal documents for the attorney’s signature such as petitions, motions, notices, complaints, orders, final judgments and stipulations to be filed in circuit courts in connection with Title IV-D cases. Attends Court on a regular basis; performs court related duties. Receives and responds to calls from clients regarding requests for information.
